Ram Extraction

Inspired by Blav (former colleague) and losing a Auger 20m down a foundation hole in White City London. The main components acquired from White City, The Shard and Hickley Point Nuclear Power Station.

The viewer is left with a sense of brutalism of nature, and a testament of distorted perception which comes from the raw use of steel and the organic formation of its natural form. Inspiration comes from the discovery of an industrial extraction tool which was used on a construction project in Whitecity, London. Ever since I was a child I gathered materials from my rural childhood which provided the background to create such a piece.
