SIQWG

SIQWG

Intro: SIQWG is a culmination of a thought of what to do with leftover test pieces of casing after 2004 M25 Heathrow terminal 5 bridge project ended. Knowing where these pieces where stored and being able to develop it in to this tall, heavy and elegant Sculpture. Sitting on a quite heavy and usable base that was made from road plate from a yard in Roverum. The project started in 2019, the whole process from 1st cut to last weld took 1 and a 1/2 years to complete. It’s name is it’s meaning: Self Isolated Quantitative Weight Gain, which I did & it did!

SIQWG was entered into the Luxemberg Art Prize. Awaiting outcome.
